Newborn sessions are my heart. There is nothing quite like those first few days. I work slowly and gently, following your baby's lead. No rushing, no forcing poses. Parents and siblings are included so you walk away with images of your whole family in this season.
I am known for my patience with little ones and for editing that feels timeless, not trendy. These images will still look beautiful in 20 years.
Newborns book out a few months in advance, so the earlier you reach out the better. But if your baby is already here, reach out anyway. I do my best to fit families in when I can.

Fall family sessions are my favorite time of year. The light, the colors, a family dressed up together in a field. I love every part of it. Booking opens at the end of August for evening sessions only.
South Dakota weather keeps things interesting, so dates are tentative and based on conditions. You need to be flexible and willing to move your session if the weather isn't cooperating. That flexibility is part of what makes these sessions so beautiful when everything comes together.

Milestone sessions are for those in-between stages that go by too quickly. Relaxed and fun, and I am known for my patience with little ones who don't always cooperate on command.

Do digital files come with every session?
Not automatically with every session. Most sessions include a print credit toward albums, prints, or wall art. Some sessions like fall family and headshots do include a set number of digital files. Additional digitals are always available for purchase. I walk you through everything at booking so there are no surprises.
What if the weather is bad?
For outdoor sessions we'll watch the forecast together. If we need to reschedule, we'll find a date that works, no fees for weather rescheduling.
How far in advance should I book?
Fall sessions book 2–3 months out, so don't wait. Newborns should book before baby arrives. Other sessions I usually have availability within a few weeks.
Where are you located?
My studio is in Tyndall, SD. I shoot outdoor sessions throughout the area, Yankton, Sioux Falls, and surrounding communities.
Can you do head swaps or edits?
Yes, if someone blinked or the dog looked away, just ask. I'm happy to help with reasonable editing requests.
Do you travel for sessions?
I do travel for the right session, reach out and let me know what you have in mind. Travel fees may apply depending on location.
