A shorter fall calendar... and a few things coming up

Hey friends,

If you've been following along, you probably know Freebird has changed quite a bit over the years. What started with photography has grown into web design and marketing for small businesses, along with education and resources for moms who want to actually DO something with all those photos sitting on their phones.

I still love photography, but with the web design side of my business growing, most of my week is spent there now. So this fall I'm doing things a little differently and taking on a much smaller number of family sessions.

I'm definitely not putting the camera down. After 19 years, I don't think that's happening 😂 I'm just not filling my calendar with sessions like I have in years past.

So... if you've been thinking about fall photos this year, reach out sooner rather than later because I won't have as many spots available.

03 · For Small Businesses
A Little Update on the Business Side of Freebird

This is probably the biggest change happening behind the scenes.

I've been doing graphic and web design for years, but this side of Freebird has really started growing. I'm now taking on more small business clients for custom WordPress websites, website management, Facebook/social media marketing and the random tech stuff that comes along with running a business online.

I've gotten to work with such a mix of businesses already... a chamber of commerce, contractors, a singer/songwriter, a golf course, a flower and sourdough business, storage and commercial spaces, and other local small businesses. That's honestly one of the things I love most about this side of my work. No two businesses are exactly the same.

And I'm not just building a website and handing it over for you to figure out. For a lot of my clients, I stay involved after the site launches too... keeping things updated, making changes, helping with marketing and handling the website side of things so they don't have to worry about it.
