Quick Reference
Naming Your Folder
Either name works -- Photos by Year or Family Yearbooks. I personally use Family Yearbooks because that's exactly what they become. Pick whichever makes more sense to you and go with it.
Computer Folder Structure at a Glance
If you're setting up your computer folders too: Photos → Year → Month → optional date folder (e.g. 09_23_2026). The event or subject name only appears in the file names, not as an extra folder.
